Sugar beets growing technologies are one of the most intensive among all field crops. Further increase in root yield and, at the same time, economic efficiency is a real challenge for agronomists. One of the ways to achieve this goal is to optimize mineral nutrition taking into account the situation in the fields.
This year, the weather conditions of the first part of the growing season of sugar beets were not the most favorable, and therefore we observe a certain lag of plants in growth and development. High pressure of root and leaf diseases is also expected. We can significantly improve this situation by applying special fertilizers: the growing season will last another 2.5-3 months, and, therefore, there is time to correct nutritional conditions.
For the second half of the growing season of sugar beets, the company "ECOORGANIC" offers the following program of foliar nutrition:
Closing of leaves in a row – till the rows closure (crop cover): for strengthening of processes of accumulation of sugars, prevention of display of physiological diseases - ECOLINE Boron (Premium) 1,5 l / ha + ECOLINE Copper (Chelate) 0,5 l / ha.
After rows closure: to increase the resistance of plants to diseases and enhance the process of photosynthesis - ECOLINE Magnesium (Chelates) 2.0 l / ha + GROS Phosphito-NP 1.5 l / ha.
The last treatment with fungicides: to increase sugar content, increase the synthesis and outflow of sugar into the root, improve the technological quality of raw sugar - ECOLINE Phosphite (K-Amino) 1.5-2.0 l / ha.
