FOLIAR FEEDING OF EARLY RIPENING STRAWBERRIES
Growing strawberries under cover gives an opportunity to get an early berry harvest, but requires more serious care before the berry ripens. The productivity of strawberries depends on their formation of the leaf surface and peduncles of the bush. The first indicates the conditions of photosynthetic activity and the intensity of growth processes. The main function of the leaves is the proper flow of photosynthesis, as a result of which organic matter is formed, directed to the construction of the bush and the formation of the crop. The second - indicates the importance of the number of flowers and ovary.
The microclimate under agrofibre promotes more intensive plant growth, and accordingly increases the need for nutrients. Considering that the culture is grown mainly on soils of light granulometric composition, the deficiency manifests itself in almost all macro and microelements, and the acidic reaction of the soil solution promotes the spread and development of pathogenic microflora and its colonization of plants.
In closed soil where strawberry plants are already blooming and berries are forming, we recommend adding it to the tank mixture ECOLINE Phosphite (K) at the rate of 15 ml/100m2 (one hundred) area + ECOLINE Bor (Opti) 20 ml/100m2 (one hundred) square meters. In order to improve the quality of berries, in particular, their shelf life, it is necessary to carry out foliar fertilization with a special fertilizer at the beginning of the formation of strawberry fruits ECOLINE Calcium-Boron (Chelates) at the rate of 20-25 ml/100m2 (one hundred) square meters. It is advisable to feed twice with an interval of 5-7 days.
The window of opportunity is somewhat wider on the areas where the covering agro fibre is removed. On such areas, there is still time to feed the plants with fertilizers at 15 ml/100m2 (one hundred) square meters ECOLINE Phosphite (K) + ECOLINE Magnesium (Chelates) to inhibit the development of Oomycetes fungi and enhance the process of photosynthesis.
The second treatment of plants to increase the yield of berries is treated with a special fertilizer GROS Quicelium - 15 ml/100m2 (one hundredth) area for more abundant flowering and formation of berries. After flowering, foliar fertilization with a special fertilizer ECOLINE Calcium-Boron (Chelates) at the rate of 20-25 ml/100m2 (one hundred) square meters. It is advisable to feed twice with an interval of 5-7 days.
After harvesting, preventive treatment with special fertilizer should be carried out on all areas ECOLINE Phosphite (K)-30 ml/100m2 (one hundred) square meters.
