Foliar feeding of onions and garlic
One of the biological features of onions is the ability, under unfavorable conditions (lack of moisture and nutrients in the soil, compaction of the soil, etc.), to stop the growth of leaves, quickly complete the formation of the bulb and fall into a state of rest.
If the formation of the leaf has stopped, and the formation of the bulb has already begun, no agricultural techniques can stop this process.
To prevent this from happening prematurely, we recommend carrying out a set of measures aimed at the growth of healthy leaves that are not damaged by diseases and pests. Among them, the leading place belongs to the system of root and foliar fertilizing.
