Foliar feeding of sugar beet at the final stages of crop formation.
Sugar beet in Ukraine is a profitable crop. Every year, including 2024, weather conditions make adjustments to manufacturers' expectations. Two months before digging up root crops, agronomists face two main problems:
- Maintaining a healthy state of the leaves, as damage by cercosporosis can lead to significant crop losses.
- Providing plants with the necessary nutrients to increase the accumulation of sugar and improve the quality of root crops.
During this period, reliable protection of plants with fungicides, reinforced with phosphorus in the form of phosphite, is necessary. In the system of mineral nutrition during this period, it is important to achieve a more complete conversion of nitrogen compounds to reduce sugar losses during production. For the second half of the sugar beet growing season, ECOORGANIС offers the following foliar feeding program:
- After inter-row closing: to increase resistance of plants to diseases and increase the process of photosynthesis - ECOLINE Magnesium (Chelates) 1.5 l/ha + GROS Phosphito-NP 1.0 l/ha.
- The last treatment with fungicides: to increase the sugar content, increase the synthesis and flow of sugar into the root crop, improve the technological quality of the sugar raw material - ECOLINE Phosphite (K-Amino) 1.0-1.5 l/ha.
