Foliar feeding of tomatoes in August
Scientific research shows that tomatoes require high soil fertility and perform best in loose soils with sufficient organic matter.
If the soil has low fertility, high acidity, deficiency of nutrients and organic fertilizers have not been applied previously, we recommend more active use of foliar feeding of plants during critical phases of their growth and development.
During the period of formation and the beginning of ripening of the commercial part of the crop, in order to avoid calcium deficiency and the disease associated with it, blossom end rot of tomatoes, strengthening the strength of cell walls, preserving the marketable appearance of the fruit, improving the process of photosynthesis, we offer foliar feeding with a tank mixture ECOLINE Calcium-Boron (Chelates) 1.5 l/ha + ECOLINE Magnesium (Chelates), or ECOLINE Corn (Chelates) 1.0 - 1.5 l/ha.
After 10 - 14 days - to enhance the strength of cell walls and the accumulation of dry substances in fruits, the basis of which are sugars: carry out foliar feeding with a tank mixture ECOLINE Calcium-Boron (Chelate) 2.0 l/ha + ECOLINE Boron (Opti) 1.5 l/ha
