Foliar feeding of winter cereals during the earing period.

  • Beginning of earing - one of the most important stages of grain crop formation. In fact, this is the period of protection of the quality of the grain harvest. Fusarium head blight, septoriosis, rust, leaf spots are the main harmful objects affecting grain quality. Weather conditions during this period are favorable for the development of diseases and pests that feed on plant sap (mites and bugs). Damaged leaves are less able to cope with the main task - the assimilation of carbon in the process of photosynthesis and the formation of reserve substances, reducing the yield potential. Therefore, it is important to ensure the maximum productivity of photosynthesis due to the preservation of the upper and especially the flag leaf and ear from diseases and damage by pests.

Creating conditions for balanced nutrition of plants with macro and microelements will be an additional factor in increasing the yield and improving its quality indicators.

According to the results of our long-term tests in the fields in different natural and climatic conditions of Ukraine, the most effective scheme of foliar fertilization of winter cereals was a combination in a tank mixture of ZZR and a trace element complex with phosphorus in the form of phosphite - ECOLINE Cereal (Chelate) 1.5 l/ha + ECOLINE Phosphite (K) 1.0 l/ha.

Phosphite will help the correct and effective work of fugicidal protection means, accelerate the assimilation of nutrients from the soil. Potassium is in an easily accessible formthe resistance of plants to temperature fluctuations. A complex of trace elements ECOLINE Cereal (Chelates) will provide the necessary elements for pouring grain.
