Foliar fertilization of winter cereals after vegetation restoration.

In unstable weather - sharp changes in temperature from -15°C to +15°C, lack of precipitation, the main fertilizers that were applied in the fall and nitrogen that was applied in the winter, or frozen in the thawed soil remain blocked and unavailable to plants. With rapid warming predicted by mid-March, the vegetation of plants that need nutrients and will be in stressful conditions will resume. At this time, wheat forms important elements of productivity. Therefore, the level of yield depends on the conditions in which these processes occur. To eliminate the manifestation of a nutrient deficiency, it is advisable to carry out the first spraying of winter cereals and add special fertilizers containing phosphite.

Phosphite products have been proven to provide:

  • Available for plants starting from +5°C;
  • Elimination of phosphorus deficiency and assistance in nitrogen absorption;
  • Strengthening the growth of the secondary root system;
  • Inhibit the development of plant diseases;
  • Enhance the dynamics of growth of the vegetative part of plants – the basis
  • future harvest;
  • Activate the work of the photosynthetic apparatus of plants;
  • Increasing carbon uptake during photosynthesis is a direct path to increase the mass and quality of the crop.

Considering the state of plant development and the results of practical application in previous years, we recommend:

1. On crops where the overall condition of the plants is satisfactory and there are no signs of stress, the first foliar feeding should be carried out with ECOLINE Phosphite (K) fertilizers - 1.5 l/ha + ECOLINE Magnesium (Chelates) - 1.5 l/ha.

2. On areas with underdeveloped plants and those that are under stress - for the first top dressing it is better to use GROS Phosphito-NP in doses of 1.5 - 2.0 l/ha + ECOLINE Magnesium (Chelates) -1.5 l/ha or ECOLINE Zinc (Chelate) 1 l/ha

Also, in case of severe stress and plant damage, it is advisable to add the anti-stress agent POLYACTIV Boost at a rate of 1 l/ha.
