The phase of exit in the tube is an important period that affects the productivity of grain crops, because at this time the formation of the ear begins. This year, the provision of plants with moisture after the restoration of vegetation is sufficient almost throughout Ukraine. However, a significant lack of heat leads to insufficient absorption of individual elements of mineral nutrition, which entails a certain delay in the growth and development of plants.
In this regard, in the 2022 season, at the beginning of the tube, there will be a deficiency of microelements: manganese, which regulates the absorption of nitrogen forms by plants, zinc - for the production of phytohormones by plants, and on soils of organogenic origin and light granulometric composition - copper, which improves nitrogen absorption and affects the formation of the ear.
Soil temperature in most regions of Ukraine has not yet reached a level sufficient for efficient absorption of phosphorus by plants (+14-15°C). This can become a limiting factor in the formation of productivity elements in the early phases of grain development. To prevent this, we recommend foliar top dressing with fertilizer ECOLINE Phosphite (К) in dose 1,0-2,0 l/hа - effective for overcoming manifestations of phosphorus deficiency (phosphorus in the form of phosphite is absorbed at a temperature of +5-8°C) and increasing the resistance of crops to pathogens of fungal diseases of the oomycete class.
Depending on the type of soil, we recommend foliar nutrition with the following combinations of fertilizers:
- on carbonate soils: GROS Phosphite-NP or ECOLINE Phosphite (К) 1,0 l/hа + ECOLINE Manganese (Chelate) 1,0 l/hа
- on chernozem soils with a neutral and slightly acidic reaction: ECOLINE Phosphite (К) 1,5 l/hа + GROS Аmino-Zn 0,5-1,0 l/hа
- on soils of light granulometric composition (sandy, sandy loam): GROS Phosphite-NP or ECOLINE Phosphite (К) 1,0 l/hа + ECOLINE Cooper (Chelate) 1,0 l/hа
- on crops with normally developed plants - ECOLINE Мagnesium (Chelates) or ECOLINE Cereal (Chelates) 1,5 l/hа and ECOLINE Phosphite (К) 1,0 l/hа
