Weather conditions during the spring of this year are marked mainly by insufficient rainfall for winter crops, including rapeseed.
The temperature regime this season is far from ideal for culture. Sufficiently high temperatures during the day and frosts at night will provoke damage to the root part of plants with the formation of microcracks through which pathogens will enter and cause rot. In the exposed traps for pest detection, an increase in the population of the secretive proboscis, one of the most harmful insect pests in this crop, can be clearly seen.
What should agronomists do in this situation? The ECOORGANIC company, based on the results of field tests, recommends the use of foliar top dressing with special fertilizers with active ingredients along with insecticidal and fungicidal protection:
- Phosphorus in the form of phosphite to stimulate the growth of the root system, the production of phytoalexins in the plant to inhibit the vital activity of fungi of the oomycete class, to overcome phosphorus deficiency;
- Amino acids to improve the energy balance of plants and mitigate the manifestations of temperature stresses;
- Boron as one of the key trace elements that ensure the health of the leading bundles and the formation of pollen grains for better pollination.
The optimal composition at present in all regions, without exception, will be a tank mixture ECOLINE Phosphite (К) 1,0 – 1,5 l/hа + ECOLINE Boron (Premium) 1,0 l/hа.
