Results of fertilizer use in corn in 2017

Today, the technology of corn cultivation is not limited to the introduction of only macro-nutrients, but also involves the use of trace elements, in particular zinc, manganese, copper, boron, molybdenum and phytohormones. The value of micronutrients increases significantly in conditions of drought or periods of temperature fluctuations, stress factors or simply replenishment of the required content at the manifestations of their deficiency in plant nutrition.
    In order to really benefit from endless feed, it is important to properly and skillfully apply this auxiliary food for plants using puffy diagnostics and, knowing the most important critical periods of growth and development of the culture, when the trace elements are necessary from the point of view of plant physiology and their growth phases. 
    On our Demo-field, which is in Prat Mshanetske, Terebovlyan district, Ternopil region. we used a scheme of non-root nutrition microfertilizers from TM Ecoorganic in the first important phase of corn growth (4-6 l), when generative organs are laid and the main root system is formed and 6-9 l, when there is an active growth of the vegetative mass with the subsequent formation of the length of the beginning and the number of grains. As a result, the yield obtained depending on the hybrid of certain groups of maturity is 8.2-12.71 t / ha (Diagram 1).

At the other part of the field at the site of the hybrid P8523 (Optimum AQUAmax, FAO 260), we have been experimenting with different variants of foliar nutrition by microfertilizers TM Ecoorganic (Diagram 2).

An experiment with fecal nutrition showed a good reaction of P8523. Depending on the variants of the extra root application, the yield of P8523 increased from 4.8 to 13.48%. The maximum yield increase was 1.17 t / ha.
