Spring 2021, like last year, is not generous with warm temperatures, and therefore a significant part of crops lags behind in growth and development, which will inevitably lead to lower yields.

Winter cereals are particularly sensitive to low temperatures before entering the stem elongation phase. Cold has a negative effect on the preservation of the plant's future productive stems and future ear.

To mitigate the effects of subzero temperatures, at the first opportunity, it is recommended to carry out foliar fertilization with the following special fertilizers, depending on the situation in a particular field:

- on crops with normal development - ECOLINE Universal Growth (Amino) 1.0 - 1.5 l / ha or GROS Health 1.0 - 1.2 l / ha;

- on late-sown fields, where there is a delay in plant growth, - ECOLINE Phosphite (K) 1.0 - 1.5 l / ha;

- if there are residual effects of herbicides applied on the previous crop on top of the cold stress, - ECOLINE Phosphite (K-Amino) 1.0 - 1.5 l / ha.

If the farm technology includes fertilization with a solution of urea, another special fertilizer with an amino acid content can be used - GROS Amino-Mg 1.0 - 1.5 l / ha. Last year, in the growing conditions of Zaporizhia region, foliar nutrition with this fertilizer ensured better plant development, preservation of productivity elements and, as a result, an increase in yield by 1.0 t / ha comparing with the untreated check.
