The first foliar nutrition of soybeans
Soybean yields depend on a balanced mineral nutrition and reliable protection against weeds and diseases. We remind you about the use of special fertilizers in the technology of growing of this important crop.
Due to the symbiosis with nodule bacteria, the nitrogen fixation process begins in the phase of two trifoliate leaves and continues throughout the growing season. This allows the plants to get nitrogen from the atmosphere to form their own yield and leave some of it in the soil for the next crop.
The process of nitrogen uptake largely depends on the level of molybdenum supply, as this element is part of the enzymes responsible for the transformation of nitrogen forms in the plant. Therefore, it is important to adequately feed soybean plants with molybdenum during the nitrogen fixation process.
Molybdenum deficiency is most often found on light soils and on acidified types of gray forest and chernozem soils. To solve this problem, ECOORGANIC proposes to use the microfertilizer ECOLINE Molybdenum (Complex) at a dose of 0.5 - 1.0 l / ha for foliar fertilization of legumes from the phase of 2 true leaves to budding.
During the same period, it is important to stimulate the growth of the root system and increase plant resistance to diseases by adding ECOLINE Phosphite (K) 1.0 - 1.5 l / ha into the tank mix.
